Celebrating the bigger, better, bolder Lamb Shop
The Lamb Shop has been making mouths water from its narrow nook on Oracle Boulevard since it first opened back in 2014. Try as you might, as soon as you catch a whiff of the lamb shoulder roasting away over charcoal, it’s impossible to keep on walking. As a result, the venue is often filled to capacity. Well, friends, the time has come for The Lamb Shop to move to a sizeable new space, a souvlaki-toss from its original home. Its new digs are located opposite The Cuban in Oracle Boulevard, and yes before you panic, the menu is staying the same just with more seating and a generous outdoor area so you can linger a little longer with a glass of Greek wine.
For those who have not yet had the pleasure, The Lamb Shop is dedicated to quality ingredients mixed with authentic traditional recipes. The meat is cooked over charcoal for hours, meaning it’s juicy, meltingly tender, and generally pretty irresistible. If lamb isn’t your vibe, there’s slow-roasted chicken alongside a vegetarian option stuffed with grilled sheep’s milk cheese, slaw, red pepper, and feta paste.
