Magic blends at Oracle Boulevard

So, you’ve heard of writer’s block, but have you heard of eater’s block? You probably haven’t because, well, we made it up – but that’s not to say it doesn’t exist! Chances are you’ve experienced that feeling where you’re tired of opting for the same type of meal every time you go out. Luckily, we have just the thing to get you out of your rut and all it takes is a trip to Oracle Boulevard’s best restaurants.

Below we’ve compiled four flavour explosions with a twist! Each suggested menu item features ingredients that look like they don’t belong together, but really they are out of this world – trust us!

No Name Lane

To ease you into the idea of weird and wacky food combinations we thought we’d start with something not too extreme – turmeric lattes! No Name Lane certainly knows a thing or two when it comes to turmeric lattes, so if you’re going to try one be sure to get it from here! The best part? Not only do they taste delish, but they have a slew of health benefits – from lowering inflammation levels to improving brain function. Who knew coffee and turmeric could be so impressive?

Social Eating House

What do you think of when you think dessert? Probably something sweet, indulgent, and decadent! Despite what you may think, the burnt onion meringue from Social Eating House is just that. Think strawberries, burnt onion meringue with crème fraiche ice cream, and shiso (a Japanese herb) – the blend of flavours is absolutely divine.

ORZO

We all know that fusion cuisine is always mouth-watering but what about when Italian and Asian flavours combine? The unusual pairing can be sampled thanks to Orzo’s kimchi arancini. The arancini features Korean mayonnaise, mozzarella, and kimchi, which happen to make an unlikely yet gourmet combination.

Mecca Bah

You’ve heard of dukkah on avocado toast, but have you heard of dukkah on prawns? Mecca Bah certainly has and it’s one of their mezze plates. Their dukkah prawns feature fresh Mooloolaba king prawns seasoned with dukkah in a delightful homemade Harissa sauce and garnished with dried dill. We bet your mouth is watering!

There you have it, the wonderful (and slightly bizarre) flavours of Oracle Boulevard! What are you waiting for? Try these magic blends for yourself!
